Land Management in Kansas City, NW Missouri & NE Kansas

Land management is the process of managing the use and development of land resources for a variety of purposes. At Tallgrass Land Management while we perform any number of one time services we really look at land in term's of it's long term care and maintenance. So when we come and give you an estimate for a service we also talk to you about our annual land management programs that may also be of interest to you. There is no pressure to sign up but as your forestry expert we want to give you all the options whether that's a one time service solution or looking at annual management programs that might make sense for your property.

Annual Programs may include but are not limted to:

  • Spraying the land for weeds in Spring and Fall
    • Spraying solutions vary based on the individual property
  • Brush Hogging 2 to 3 times a year ( Spring / Summer / Fall )
  • Seeding as needed
  • Every property is unique so other solutions may be suggested

When is comes to managing the land the most cost-effective, efficient, and environmentally friending way is through forestry mulching. Using a compact high flow, high horsepower forestry mulching machine replaces many steps of conventional land clearing, while leaving you with a quality end -product that is healthier for the environment. It is a great way to prepare sites for building, revive land, clean up after logging operations, open- up views, and manage invasive species while leaving a lower carbon footprint.
